Security for our guests and employees

Last winter we were not allowed to welcome any guests in our hotel due to the lock down regulations. Now the new winter 21/22 is just around the corner and we are really looking forward to having you back with us.

However, Covid-19 continues to warn us to be cautious. To ensure the safety and health of our guests and our employees, we have taken precautions in the hotel under the motto "Safe Hospitality". These should ensure a carefree time in Lederer's Living.

We make sure to preserve a piece of "normality" in our small hotel world for you and we are really looking forward to a great winter with many, loving and interesting people who entrust themselves to our care.

Is the hotel open?

At the end of November 2021, Covid-19 forced us to close our hotel for the third time for almost four weeks. This drastic measure, ordered by the authorities, was necessary to break the fourth wave of infections.

Our house has been open to our guests again since December 17, 2021. Nothing stands in the way of a relaxing stay with us.

When can I book for the coming weeks and months?

Bookings are possible at any time and are expressly desired.

In a time of uncertainty, it is more important than ever to provide security. Therefore, we would like to relieve our potential guests of the worries and fears about cancellations and the associated costs for all winter bookings and offer you our two-point program for a worry-free booking for all new reservations with a stay until May 2022.

What do I have to consider when checking in?

The health of our guests, employees and the population has absolute priority in these challenging times. To contain and combat the spread of the coronavirus, the Austrian federal government has planned a lockdown as a COVID-19 protective measure. This lockdown currently still applies to people who cannot provide proof of 2-G (i.e. without proof of vaccination or recovery):

- Retail and cultural and sports activities have been open since Sunday, December 12th and Monday, December 13th, 2021
- Gastronomy and hotels have been open since Friday, December 17, 2021
- The night catering remains closed.
- The operation of the hotel, catering and excursion destinations takes place under strict conditions and under the 2-G rule and we ask all of these to continue to be taken into account.

2-G rules
The prerequisite for the activities is the Green Pass (2-G certificate), which means you have to recover or be vaccinated. Compliant vaccines are those approved by the European Commission.

A valid vaccination certificate (not older than 9 months) or a COVID infection that has been overcome in the last 180 days (official notification) must be proven as 2-G proof.

Tests of any kind (antigen, PCR and antibody tests) are no longer permitted as access authorization since November 8th, 2021.

Children and adolescents
Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the G proof requirement. The following applies to children and young people between 12 and 15 years of age (school age): The "Holiday Ninja Pass" is equivalent to the 2-G certificate and is therefore also valid as an entry certificate for the restaurant, cinema or cable car. After completing the ninth year of school, young people must also have a 2-G certificate.

For children and adolescents between 12 and 15 years of age without a complete vaccination or proof of recovery, the "Holiday Ninja Pass" is equivalent to a 2-G certificate if:

- Valid negative test evidence is always present from day 1 to day 5 (tests for children and adolescents are valid for 48 hours for antigen tests, 72 hours for PCR tests);
- Basically at least 2 tests of which are PCR tests;
- All official test certificates are attached to the Holiday Ninja Pass in paper form or digitally and a valid photo ID is carried.

Entry into Austria
When entering Austria, a 2.5 G certificate (Green Passport) must be carried with you (valid negative PCR test result, no more than 72 hours old, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery).

Attention: From December 20th, 2021, stricter entry regulations will apply: A valid 2-G certificate (vaccinated or recovered) AND a current PCR test (maximum 72h old) OR a valid 2-G certificate (vaccinated or recovered) AND evidence of a Booster vaccination is necessary. If you enter the country without 2-G evidence or without an additional PCR test or evidence of a booster vaccination, you must enter a ten-day quarantine after your arrival.

There is a registration requirement before entry ("Pre-Travel-Clearance"). The registration confirmation must be presented electronically or printed out during an inspection.

There is no registration requirement for people who are coming from a country with a low epidemiological risk (according to the Federal Ministry's list) and who have only stayed in this country or in Austria in the last 10 days prior to arrival.

What rules do I have to observe in the hotel?

In the past few months, with good reason, we have adopted a great many behaviors that serve to minimize infection with Covid-19. It makes sense to keep these rules as they are.

The guidelines in the hotel

  • Do not travel if there are signs of illness.
  • Reserve in advance if possible to reduce traffic jams at reception and at breakfast.
  • It is compulsory to wear an FFP2 mask in all public areas of the hotel.
  • Frequently and regularly uses the numerous hand disinfection stations in the hotel.
  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from other people outside of your own group of visitors.
  • The instructions of the employees are to be followed.
  • Both hotel and external guests are required to register. The data will be destroyed after 28 days, provided this does not contradict legal requirements.
  • The use of the sauna is only possible after prior registration and appointment.
  • If there are any signs of illness during your stay, please contact us immediately.

Is a Safe Vacation Guaranteed?

Even in non-pandemic times, we have a great responsibility towards our guests with regard to their health and well-being. We guarantee you that we are now even more aware of this responsibility and that we will act accordingly.

We have implemented all important measures in the hotel, both legally prescribed and designated as recommendations for action, in order to protect your health and that of our employees.

In cooperation with the holiday region, we have developed a hygiene certification via the internationally known reputation management platform TRUSTYOU.

The well-known company HAGLEITNER supplies us with professional cleaning and disinfection systems. Their training courses guarantee that our employees use these materials efficiently and correctly.

We have developed a Covid-19 hygiene and prevention concept based on the latest scientific findings, which is implemented by our Covid-19 representative in the company at the crucial points.

The 3G rule in the workplace is fully implemented by us and our employees. We are all fully vaccinated.

The lobby (breakfast room) is the most frequented public area of the hotel. Here we use our ventilation system to ensure an efficient, rapid exchange of air.

I think the guidelines are exaggerated and will not adhere to them. Can I still book?

The safety of our guests and employees has the highest priority. Therefore, the requirements of the authorities are consistently implemented. We unequivocally recommend guests who do not want to adhere to this to choose another accommodation.

Everyone can contribute with commitment to keeping this pandemic in its place. Your commitment to our “house rules” is part of this commitment. We hope and wish that you are ready to support these measures with us.
